An ode to the voids in our life

Negative spaces make creatives better. As a copywriter, it is as much the job to condense as it is to write.

Because messages often rest in the spaces unsaid.

The void of a post, delicately arranged around an empty circle. The void of unfilled paper, and the many possibilities therein.

The void of our futures, filled with the airy fluff of our dreams.

Here today, gone tomorrow.

The void of fear, and hope, and all things in between, waiting for stories yet untold. Ballads and nightmares, both welcome.

The voids that make us who we are.

The void of things and people past. Of blank empty spaces that can never be filled again. The sum total of a life that was but an empty canvas, art supplies snatched away. The void of a future that now ceases to exist.

Lost opportunities. A life gone too soon.

If there is beauty here, maybe we never do find it.

Maybe we are never meant to be complete, for having been made up of our empty spaces.

For PC, and for everyone else coping with the greatest loss of their life.
